Lipodissolve® is a mild non surgical medical procedure for removing cellulite, reducing localized fat of the face or body or to rejuvenate lax skin. Lipodissolve is known to achieve natural skin retraction without the harsh procedures of chemicals, laser, the scalpel or weeks of downtime. The concept of fat-reduction by injections was initially discovered in Italy in early 1980's. The older therapy was greatly improved by ASAL and faculty since 2001 as a replacement to minor surgical lipoplasty procedures. The therapy was officially introduced to medical professionals in the United States in 2004.

How Does Lipodissolve® Work?

The therapy includes the use of a mild combination of medications to dissolve the fat in localized areas of the body or face. Phosphatidylcholine, a chief component of soya lecithin and viewed as an enzyme, is injected into the 'problem areas' using small needles. (One significant quality of lecithin is the ability to break down fat). Upon being injected, Lipodissolve® breaks down the bond in the fat cells. The fat is then dissolved into liquid and eliminated from the body in urine and feces. For this reason, the proceedure may take approximately two months to show full results.

Lipodissolve®is a gentle and gradual procedure aimed to provide cosmetic results in only 1-4 treatment sessions without the use of toxic medications.


How is Lipodissolve® administered?

Small injections are administered to the required areas.


When does Lipodissolve® start to work?

Usually you will begin to see the effects within the first 2 weeks. Maximum benefit is reached within 2 months.


How long does Lipodissolve® last?

The results remain permanent unless there is new weight gain.
